June 7, 2001: Lionhead releases the 8.8 Mb Beta Patch, about 6P.M. GMT. The Message Boards are quickly clogged, as is the DL server for Fileplanet. It starts with an estimated half-hour delay, but an hour later, when I start mine, I start receiving in about ten minutes. Some long-time complainers on the Boards report much-improved performance.
May 31, 2001: Patch was expected today. Procedural routines prevented that, and the usual bunch of Whiners clogged the Message Boards so bad they often couldn't post.
We're all hoping it will be delivered on Monday, June 4.
Finally! We're still trying to work out the 'toon that Mr. Sheep had dedicated to my new site. In it's place, I offer you this more recent invention of his. Shortly, there will be a new page with many of his works to choose from.
